Edna Cecilia (Fitzgerald) Vinch, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 93. She was born on April 24, 1919 in Ogdensburg, NY, daughter of Thomas and Hattie Mae (Bishop) Fitzgerald and was the wife of the late Arthur W. Vinch. She was predeceased by her 4 brothers (Everett, Edward, Leslie & Leo), 2 sisters (Sister Mary Bernard (Helen) & Ruth Fitzgerald.)
She is leaving behind to cherish her and to thank God for her long life her 3 children Thomas, James (Betty), Donna Vinch, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Marzullo, Dan Vinch, Greg (Sara) Vinch, Lori (Jeremy) Kemp, Kevin Vinch, and 10 great grandchildren, and last but not least, Herbie, her beloved Shih Tzu.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Monday 11am from the funeral home. Burial at North Syracuse Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the VNA of CNY for their many years of home care.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the local ASPCA or to a charity of your choice.
