Edith Mae Sivalia, 99, of Liverpool passed away on September 22, 2022. Edith was born in Rose, NY to the late Benjamin F. and Eva B. (Knapp) Laird on September 13, 1923.
Edith worked at General Electric until she retired. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and bird watching. Working in her garden was a favorite pastime. Most of all she loved being with her family, especially for family gatherings and she made the best pies and cookies. It was a joy to her to listen to her family playing their music on guitars and violin.
She was predeceased by her Husband of 31 years, Daniel T. Sivalia; Parents; and Sister, Mae Lucieer.
Edith is survived by her Children, Daniel Sivalia, Ruth Stewart, Jon (Mary) Sivalia, Jack (Ellen) Sivalia, Peter Sivalia; Sister, Edna Featherly; Sister-in-law, Mary Kilmer; 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Services for Edith will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a Funeral Service to follow. She will be laid to rest at Roosevelt Cemetery following services.
