Edith I. Cuomo, 91, passed away peacefully at Iroquois Nursing Home on July 17th. She was born on January 27, 1920 to Frank and Mary (DeRosa) Cupolo. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roger, Vincent and Joseph, sisters Rose Mancuso, Pia Graziadei, and her husband of 54 years Peter S. Cuomo.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rosemary (Robert) Toro of Liverpool, NY and Frances (Gary) Alger of Johnstown, NY, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Edith's faith in her Lord Jesus Christ was a testimony to her family and friends.

We would like to thank the staff on the 4th floor of Iroquois Nursing Home for their great caring and care during her last days.

Funeral Services will be held Friday 4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 No. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be held Friday from 2-4pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church, 7565 Morgan Road, Liverpool, NY 13090.
