Edith A. Yeldon, 72, of Liverpool passed away Monday. She is predeceased by her mother, Emma Sturm. Born in Gloversville, NY she was a School Bus Driver with the Liverpool School District for many years. Edith enjoyed crafts, garage sales and was affectionately known as "The Witch of Liverpool" because she always dressed up for Halloween.
She is survived by her children; Connie (Dan) Ager, Thomas (Tammy) Yeldon Jr., Michael (Kathy) Yeldon and Jeffrey Yeldon, her aunt; Margaret Farhart, seven grandchildren; Nicole, Danny, Jeremy, T.J., Jennifer, Brian and Catrina, 4 great-grandchildren; Haley, Ryan, Emma and Drew and her beloved cat Sushi.
Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main Street.
