Eddie Casul, Sr.

Eddie Casul, 60, of Mattydale passed away unexpectedly May 26, 2022, Eddie was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 14, 1961 to Miguel and Isabelle Casul. Eddie attended JHS 47 where he met the love of his life Azalia (Sally). In 1997, the family moved to Liverpool, NY. Eddie called the Syracuse area home ever since. Eddie worked various places until a back injury required him to stay home on disability.

Eddie Sr. was a devoted husband of 45 years, father and grandfather. He had the biggest heart, living a life selflessly devoted to his family creating an irreplaceable bond with all. Eddie was an avid sports enthusiast, especially, baseball (Boston Red Sox & NY Mets), Football (Pittsburgh Steelers), NASCAR (Jeff Gordon) and OTB.

He is survived by wife, Azalia (Sally) Casul, 2 sons, Eddie (Jennifer) Casul, Jr. Richard Casul, daughter-in-law, Jessica Hoffmann, 4 grandchildren, Colin, Dylan, Kaden, Logan, mother, Isabelle Figueroa, 3 brothers, Miguel A. (Jutta) Casul, Hernan (Synthia) Melendez, Mario Melendez, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A service will be held on Friday 10am at the funeral home.
