Earl W. Ellsworth, 92, of Mattydale and Osceola, NY, passed away on Tuesday at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Waterloo, NY on December 14, 1920 and was a WW II Veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, 4286 QM Railhead Company. Earl was owner of E.W. Ellsworth & Sons for 38 years, he enjoyed his family and the outdoors. He was pre deceased by his wife Harriet in 2001, 3 brothers & 2 sisters.
Surviving are his children; Earl (Joyce Ryan), Sharon (Douglas) Hammond, Dennis (Roberta), Bruce (Mary), Linda (Stephen) Kurpiewski, John, Dale, Margo (Richard) Burgmeier, 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Graveside services with full military honors, will be held on Saturday 10am at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
