Earl F. Gamlen, 53, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born October 8, 1958 in Syracuse, son of Earl H. and Geraldine Reis Gamlen. He owned and operated Nature Works Landscaping and most recently worked at UPS.
He was a member of the American Legion in Mattydale, he was a fan of the NY Giants, NY Mets and SU.
He was predeceased by his father, Earl H. Gamlen in 1977. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine, a sister, Katherine (Gregory) Garcia, a brother Greg (Terry) Gamlen, a niece Gretchen Schwartz, great nieces, great nephew and his 4 legged friend, Mindy.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse with services to follow at 7pm.
Contributions may be made to American Lung Assoc. or to the Humane Assoc. of CNY, 4915 ½ W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088.
