Earl F. "Bud" DeBottis II, 82, of Clay, passed away at home.
Earl was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, fishing and playing golf. He also loved bowling and going to the casino.
Earl enjoyed spending time with his family; he loved showing his children and grandchildren magic tricks and telling jokes. He was a big sports fan and loved Syracuse sports and the NY Yankees.
Earl was offered a contract with the St. Louis Cardinals after graduating from Oswego State. He will be missed by all including his Pomeranian, Lulu.
Earl was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Helen DeBottis.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Coon); six children, Debbie (Sarita), John (Nancy), Beth (William), Jason (Brandy), Michael (Robin) and Lisa (Lou); ten grandchildren, John, Barbara, Katie, Paul, Caleb, Cora, Cameron, Carson, Jacob and Landrey; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dolores (Harold) Steenbergh; brother, David (Patricia) DeBottis and several nieces and nephews.
Earl requested that no services be held.
