Dwight R. "Dee" Kingsbury, 73, of Fulton passed away on Thursday. Dwight was born on March 12, 1946 the son of the late Homer and Reba Kingsbury.

He retired from the NYS Canal System after 32 years. He worked as a chief lock operator, a canal electrician and was the maintenance supervisor I and II. Dee enjoyed collecting antiques and classic cars.

Dwight is survived by his son, Shane (Robin) Kingsbury, daughter, Shannon Kingsbury, grandchildren, Bridget (Christopher) Snyder, Miranda (Nathan) Kingsbury, 4 great grandchildren; Alanna, Jacob, Zachary & Olivia, brothers, Charles (Pauline) Kingsbury, Homer (Kathleen) Kingsbury, Neil (Rosie) Kingsbury, sisters, Betty Kowalski, Gloria (Gerald) Race, Donna Kingsbury, Deborah (Paul Ingram) Austin, step-son, Ashton Keene.

He was predeceased by his infant son, granddaughter, Shayna, sister Patricia.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
