Dwayne A. Jackson, 81, of Syracuse, passed away on June 24, 2024.

Dwayne was born in Syracuse, NY on November 13, 1942, to the late William and Willa Jackson.

Dwayne retired from the City of Syracuse where he worked as a civil engineer for over 20 years.

He was an avid golfer, and bowler, and loved to play his computer games and watch old westerns, professional basketball, and football in his spare time.

Dwayne is survived by his spouse of over 40 years, (Aleshia) Renee Jackson, three daughters, Kimberlyn Jackson, Chinyere Williams, and Shayla (Donald) Dillard; two sons, Scotty Jackson, and Mark Jackson; 9 grandkids, A’yla, Aria, Shavonna, Ononda, Daisa, Jaylon, Layla, Chyna, Makayla and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 11:00am - 2:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse, NY where funeral services will begin at 2:00pm.
