Duane Don Noyes, 78, of Liverpool, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He graduated from Nottingham High School, worked at Syracuse Engineering Co. for 29 years and he retired from New Venture Gear after 19 years.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Verna (Menkins); his daughter, Diane Knapp of De Witt, NY; his son Thomas (Karin) Noyes of Rheimuenster, Germany; mother, Annetta Noyes of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren, Michael Knapp of Honolulu, HI, Amanda Knapp (Nic Ross) of Kinderhook, NY and Daniel Noyes of Freiburg, Germany; brother David (Evelyn) Noyes; sister, Melody (Richard) Slade; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be Friday 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 904 Vine St., Liverpool. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Central New York.
