Dr. Peter J. Manzone, 77, of North Syracuse, passed away Monday. He attended Niagara University and University of Buffalo's Dental School. He practiced in North Syracuse for about 30 years. He was an accomplished Pianist performing with St. Rose of Lima Church activities and the school children's plays. He was a member of the Onondaga Co. Dental Society, the Knights of Columbus and the Musicians Union.
He is predeceased by his son, Mark Manzone and his sister, Joanne Iacobelli.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara; five daughters, Michelle Carabello, Marcia (Angelo) Rebollo, Maureen (Carmen) Sarno, Mary Jo Vitale, Martina Manzone; twelve grandchildren; a brother, John Manzone; a sister, Marlene Marinelli; and several nieces nephews.
Services will be Friday, 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 3-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Huntington Disease Society of America, 115 Hardwood Lane, Rochester, NY 14616.
