Douglas John Sydney, 80, of North Syracuse, passed away March 18, 2020.
Douglas was born in Syracuse to the late Jack and Cora Sydney. He retired from General Motors and was the current local UAW #854 Retiree's President. Douglas was predeceased by a son, Douglas Jr.
He is survived by his children, Michele (Dan), Lisa (Mark), Michael, Angelo, Joseph, and Michael (Brenda); siblings, Donald (Denie), and Judie; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces, and nephews.
Services will be private due to the current environment surrounding the coronavirus.
