Dortha M. Constantino, 89, of Jordan, NY, passed away on Wednesday at James Square. She was born in Syracuse daughter of the late Theodore and Marie Scheirer. She retired as a cook from Woolworth's, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards and the New York Yankees. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2006, & her granddaughter Nicole Dawson in 1994.
Surviving are her 4 children; Joseph (Sandra), Richard (Robin), Sharon (Tim) Dawson, Jeffrey (Beverly), her sister, Carol Lombardo, 6 grandchildren; Christopher, Ricky, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Joshua & Jackie, & 12 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., with services to follow. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Warners at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made to the Syracuse Veterans Hospital or to the Jordan Ambulance Dept.
