Dorothy Catherine Roder, 82, passed away peacefully at home in North Syracuse on July 12,2020.
Dorothy was born in Buffalo, on July 27, 1937; was raised in Rochester, and lived much of her adult life in the greater Syracuse area where she was a branch manager for Merchants National Bank and a bus driver for the Camden School District. Dorothy also resided in Concord, North Carolina for many years and spent the last 7 years in Inverness, Florida.
She enjoyed bowling in her younger years as well as calling and playing bingo at the V.F.W. Dorothy adored her dog, Sophie, who was always by her side.
Dorothy is predeceased by husbands Nelson A. Roder and John F. Keating.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Dave) Cole and Linda (Rob) Quartier; her son, Donald Meyers; many nieces and nephews, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
No memorial service will be held. Dorothy will be laid to rest in the columbarium at the North Syracuse Cemetery.
