Dorothy M. Grillo, 95, of North Syracuse, went to be with the Lord on Monday. She was born in Topeka, KS to the late Louis and Sophia Dicke. Dorothy met her husband, Michael N. Grillo while he was stationed in Topeka during WWII. Her passions included sewing, quilting and bible study.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Michael N. Grillo and her son, Michael L. Grillo. She was the last surviving of thirteen children.
She is survived by her three children, Lillian (Bill) Azzoto, James (Patti) Grillo and Judi (Dan) Burrows; five grandchildren, Melissa (Nate) Pickard, Bill M. Azzoto, Keirsten Burrows, Daniel (Bethany) Burrows and Jeff (Breana) Azzoto and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, November 2 from 4 until 7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. The funeral service will be held Friday 10:30AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 6142 State Route 31, Cicero with burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Contributions may be made to the church.
