Dorothy A. "Dottie" Gallipeau, 70, passed away on Sunday with family by her side.
Dorothy was born on August 30, 1946 the daughter of the late Eugene and Alice Mathis.
Dorothy lived in New Haven, CT before moving to Syracuse. She last worked at Loretto Nursing Home for 13 years. Dottie enjoyed camping, being with family and the love of her cats. She was predeceased by her son Paul LaFontaine.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Robert, Jr. sons, Robert (Melody) Gallipeau, III, George Gallipeau, Jason Gallipeau, grandchildren, Adriana LaFontaine, Madelyn Gallipeau, Robert Gallipeau, IV, Gunner Gallipeau, sister-in-law, Anne (Kevin) Ventura.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow. Burial will be private.
