Dorothy G. Hampton, 81, of Liverpool, passed away after a short illness. She was employed by Travelers Insurance, the Liverpool Schools and for many years as a secretary for the family business. She was a former Brownie Leader and was active with the Girl Scouts. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Albert Hampton, daughter Sandra (Mike) Hallihan, Baldwinsville, 2 granddaughters; Meghan E. Hallihan and Kellie N. Hallihan, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen and a brother, Earl.
She enjoyed reading, animals and going out to dine.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse with services to follow with the Rev. Bradford Hunt.
