Dorothy C. (Daria) Flynn

Dottie Flynn, 88, of North Syracuse/Liverpool, passed away Monday after a long battle with kidney disease. Dottie grew up in Yonkers, NY, where she was known for singing with the USO. After marrying, she spent years traveling overseas with her family. The Syracuse area then became her home where she has resided for the last 50 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Agway until she retired. Dottie enjoyed bowling and was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her three children, Michael (Wendy) Flynn of Fayetteville, NY, Patricia (Patrick) Garrett of Washington State and Kevin Flynn of Liverpool, NY; nine grandchildren, Jared, Brendon, Christopher, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Patrick, Michael, Amanda and Eric; sister, Gloria Meling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A Graveside committal service will be held on Friday, February 10th at 1PM at St. Michael's Cemetery, Penn Yan, NY.
