Dorothy C. Cross (Lafaver), 75, of Solvay, passed away Monday at home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She had 27 years of service with Syracuse Developmental Center and retired in 1996.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia (Rick), Theresa, Deborah (Rodger); sons, David, Robert, Ernest (Pat), John and Paul; brothers, Gordon, Robert, Karle and Ronald; and her sister, Lorna and their spouses; Numerous grand-children and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and Jack Osborne, her companion of 36 years.
Services will be Friday, 10AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
