Dorothea I. Werkowitz, 90, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday. She was a bookkeeper at various businesses. Dorothea enjoyed playing violin, cooking, decorating, crafts and artwork. Dorothea enjoyed life to the fullest and was a very sociable lady. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Werkowitz; her son, David Frederick and by her 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Dorothea is survived by her daughter, Karen Chevrier; grandson, Jeremy (Tewah) Chevrier; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Chevrier, Abdoulaye Chevrier, Alex Chevrier and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private for the family in Dakar, Senegal. Donations may be made to the Resident Benefit League, James Square Nursing Home, 918 James St., Syracuse, NY 13203.
