Dorleen J. Black, of Mattydale, passed away Thursday at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 18, 1932 in Syracuse to the late James and Pearl Geelan. Dorleen loved dancing, singing, gardening and music. She was quick to laugh and spending time with her family was a source of great joy.
In addition to her parents, Dorleen was also predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Stanley Black and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her children, Dori Black, Debra Black, Stan (Glorinda) Black and Delaine (Michael) Delia; her grandchildren, Mike, Shawn, Megan and Sarah; her sisters, Dorothy Sullivan, Vila (Ralph) Walker and Diana (Richard) Holmes and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
