Doris M. May

Doris “Dee” M. May, 84, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025. 

Dee was born in Oswego, New York on June 27, 1940 to the late Ralph and Louise DeCaire. 

 Dee retired from Sears & Roebuck after 27-years as a sales associate. Beyond raising her two sons, she enjoyed visiting her family in Oswego, winter months in Arizona, a few weeks each summer at camp on Millsite Lake in northern NY, playing Bunco, regular brunch gatherings with fellow retirees from her time at Sears, and was an active member of Eastern Star. 

Dee is survived by her sons: Frank May and Kary (Jaime) May; her grandchildren, MacKenzie, Anthony, Madeline, Baileigh, and Harrison; as well as her sister, Joyce (Bill) Dunsmore and brother, Pete (Barb) DeCaire.

 There will be no services per Dee’s wishes.
