Doris M. Nelson
Doris M. Nelson, 92, of Dewitt, passed away Sunday morning at Menorah Park. Doris was born in Dorchester, MA on 10/7/14, and was a long-time member of The Blanford Country Club and Westfield Women's Club. Doris is lovingly remembered by family and friends as a fun and free-spirited, caring person. She enjoyed traveling and golf, and was an exceptional cook.
She was predeceased by her husband George in 1988 and is survived by 2 sons, Donald of Liverpool and Philip of Portsmouth, NH; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great granddaughters. She and her husband were devoted parents and grandparents. A private service will be held on Friday at 11 am at Liverpool First Presbyterian Church, 603 Tulip Rd, Liverpool. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the American Heart Association.
