Doris M. Godzwon, 94, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday at the Sunnyside Care Center. She was born on December 4, 1920 daughter of the late Richard and Pauline McElroy. A graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, she was last employed with Dr. Jacinto Cruz. She was a member of the Valley VIP's and was of the Catholic Faith. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Felix.
Surviving are a daughter Mary Beth Walsh, a son, Tom (Betty) Godzwon, 5 grandchildren; Jason, Missy, Greg, Jennifer, & Chris, 3 great granddaughters; Ellie, Emma & Riley and a brother, William McElroy, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Monday 10am at the Funeral Home.
