Dorette Sanderson

June 15, 1934 — March 19, 2021

Dorette "Dee" Sanderson, 86, of East Syracuse, passed away on Friday at Upstate University. Dorette was born in Scranton, PA on June 15, 1934 daughter of the late Jack and Lottie Baronsky. Dorette retired from Post Standard. Dee was a great woman of faith & she loved the Lord with all her heart. Her love for others was demonstrated by her great faith and love. She was very dedicated to her family, she had strong perserverance and character. She was a great listener and always showed great interest in others, as she had youngness at heart, as many called her friend. Her hospitality was beyond measure. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Dorette was predeceased by her husband William, and daughter, Terri Sanderson. She is survived by her son, Randy (Lorraine) Sanderson, daughter, Renay Sanderson, grandchildren, Randall (Missy), Kelly (Joseph), great grandchildren, Madeline, Joseph, Mike, Gabby, great great grandchild, Gus, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
