Donna E. Townsend, 83, of Central Square, passed away peacefully at home on Monday. Donna was known for coordinating trips for the senior citizens. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, gardening and her cat Gabby. She was predeceased by her life time companion, Smitty.
She will be missed by her 2 daughters, Laurie (Walter) Stewart, JoAnn Townsend, son, Jim (Susan) Townsend, 10 grandchildren; Scott, Lindsay, Erin, Summer, Kristen, Cameron, Nikki, Sean, Todd & Deni, 9 great grandchildren; Evelyn, JJ, Jaxon, Orin, Liam, Grayson, Caleb, Jeffrey & Donny.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a short service to follow.
Donations may be made to the SPCA or to the Humane Society on Taft Rd.
