Donna M. Robertson, 76, of East Syracuse, passed away at home on May 15, 2012.
Donna worked at Loblaw's and Leo's Big M, and retired from Eagle Comtronics in 1998. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jim, of 53 years, and spending time with her daughters, grand-children, sisters, family and friends. Donna and Jim also enjoyed 53 years of bowling with their closest friends, Lou and Sally Peters.
Donna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She could always be found in the bleachers watching her grandchildren at every sporting event or enjoying time at a casino.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Jim; daughters Kelly Robertson and Kristy (Thomas) Regan; grandchildren Riley, Alexander and Joseph Regan; sisters, Carol Fineout, Sally G. Hall and Joanne Quaif; brother, Paul Greene; sisters-in-law, Mary Robertson and Grace (Edward) Chartier, brother-in-law, Jack (Sandy) Robertson; and, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse 13212. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10 am at Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Road, Syracuse, New York 13215.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Donna's memory, to her preferred charity, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
