Donald A. Woods

Donald A. Woods, 71, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday. He was the dedicated and eldest son of John and Helen Woods. Donald was a past President of the Angler's Association of Onondaga and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk. He loved spending time with his family.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, John and Helen Woods and his wife of 48 years, Jerelyn Woods.

He is survived by two children, Kristen (Will Johnson) Woods and Daniel (Bethany) Woods; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Lawrence Woods, Lynda (Donald) Caraway and Deborah (James) Boehmer and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 12th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 11am at the funeral home with burial to follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
