Donald W. "Oz" Osborne, Sr., 79, a native of Syracuse, joined his loving wife and best friend, Rachel V. (Stillitano) of 49 years on Thursday. He was the son of the late, Thomas and Beatrice Osborne. Don was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Liverpool, a member of the Liverpool Elks #2348 BPOE and past Grand Knight from Father Louis Water Council 7928. Don was an avid Harley rider and member of the Eliminators MC, he proudly designed their colors.
Don is survived by three daughters, Faith (Joseph) Piraino, Peggy Sue (David) Utter and Catherine (Darrall) Fogus; two sons, Scott (Brigitta) and Donald, Jr. (Heather); 12 grandchildren, Lisa (Chad), Joseph (Erica), Michael, Joshua, Morgan, Erik, Amanda, Ryan, Rachel, Nicholas, Gianna and Aliyaha; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jacob; a sister, Barbara (Edward) Puma; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Diane (Donald) Piedmonte and Faith Fields.
Calling hours will be Sunday, July 12th 3-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. The funeral mass will be Monday, July 13th 10AM at St. Joseph the Worker, Liverpool with interment to follow in Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum.
