Donald E. Temple, 67, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at the VA Medical Center. He worked for New York Central Railroad, and retired from Carrier. Don is a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army and a member of the American Legion and Moose Club. He is predeceased by his son; Donald Edwin Temple Jr. brother, John Temple and his father, Edwin Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Lila J. (Grealis) Temple; mother, Mabel Temple; two daughters, Dawn and Michelle; step-sons, Jeffrey Grealis, John Ozelek; two brothers, Mearl (Linda) and George (Ellen) Temple; grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; and his cat Squeaky.

Services will be Saturday, 9AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in the Onondaga Co. Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with his family on Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
