Donald F. "Donny" Strodel, 62, passed away on Tuesday, September, 24, 2019.
Donald was born on May 20, 1957, son of the late Francis and Dorothy Strodel.
Donald was owner of the Lakeshore Marina. He was a member of the Boys Scouts of America, and rose to the level of Eagle Scout. He was an avid sportsman and won many awards with his sport shooting. The greatest love of Donny's life would be his daughter, Emma (Bug). He was so happy to be a dad, and was a fantastic loving father.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Emma Strodel-Conroy; sister, Diane (Colin) Graham; nephew, Levi (Kristin) Strodel; niece, Meredith Strodel; great nephews, Levi Jr., Rhett, and Asa, along with many close friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 5th, from 12-3 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Don's name, or one of the many clubs he enjoyed: Dewitt Fish & Game Club; Bridgeport Rod & Gun Club; Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club; North Sportsman's Club; South Shore Associations of Oneida Lake; or Pathfinder Rod & Gun Club.
