Donald Mullen

Don Mullen, 68, of Mattydale, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2021, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ellen; children, Jason (Mari), Ryan, Shawn (Beth), Patrick (Janelle); grandchildren, Kadin, Joshua, Riley; his sisters, Diane (Barry) Kneeskern, Doreen (Steve) Yackel and Tracey (Dave) McCall; and several nieces and nephews.

Don retired from Upstate Medical University after 18 years of service. He was the past president of the Mattydale Little League, coached baseball, as well as basketball. He loved watching and playing golf with his four sons.

Per Don's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, perform a random act of kindness in Don's honor. The family would like to thank the staff at Iroquois Nursing Home for their kindness and thoughtfulness in guiding Don through his final journey.
