Donald A. Morin
December 21, 1933 — April 17, 2020
Donald A. Morin, of Clay, died on Friday, April 17, 2020, at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse. He was born in Utica, NY and moved to the Syracuse area in 1955, where he was a sales engineer.
Mr. Morin was a member of the S2 Reconnaissance Division of the Marine Corps in Korea from 1951-1953, where he earned the Purple Heart.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years the former Jeanne Francisco; 3 sons, Todd (Sheila), Gregg, and Bryan; a daughter, Kimberly Sprague; 4 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 24th from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
Burial will be private at Mohawk Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
