Donald A. Miner

January 9, 1960 — February 23, 2017

Donald A. "Tates" Miner, 57 of Central Square, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Syracuse on January 9, 1960.

He was a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius HS in 1978.

Donald loved all kids, camping, Cleveland Browns and SU Orange.

He was a Scoutmaster for Troop 60 for many years and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include his fiancé, Linda Soule; mother, Joyce Carter; three children, Jessica, Joshua and Jeffery; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Dominick, Kal and Emmitt; three sisters, Debbie, Peachie and Mary; many nieces, nephews and his dogs, Dixie and Princess.

He is predeceased by his father, Ken Carter and his brother/uncle, Michael Gray.

Calling hours will take place at New Comer Funeral Home on Monday 4-7PM.

Funeral Service will follow at 7PM.

Interment will be in the Spring at Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
