Donald Vade Lockwood, 84, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at his home on June 20, 2021; exactly a year to the day from losing his wife.
Donald was a life long resident of Syracuse and married the love of his life Patricia and together they raised three sons.
Don held many positions during his life; from his service at General Motors, Manager of the limousine service at Patrician's Bakery and Metro Limousine, before forming his own business, All Seasons Limousine Service. After retirement from working full time, Donald went to work part time at Home Depot. In his free time, he enjoyed league bowling, golfing, and later in life attending Bingo with his neighbors at Malta House. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with friends, family and mostly his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donald was predeceased by his wife, Patricia R. Hoey Lockwood; his sister, Georgia Fowler; his parents George and Arlene Lockwood.
He is survived by his three sons, Daniel (Christina) Lockwood, Michael Lockwood, Stephen Lockwood; his niece who was like a daughter, Sharon Strong; grandchildren, Meghan (Taran) Humic Pashow, Daniel Lockwood Jr., Jessica (Joshua) Lockwood Wales, Nicole Lockwood, Emily Lockwood; great-grandchildren, Madilynn Lockwood, Samuel Pashow, Oliver Pashow, Daniella Lockwood; and several Nieces and Nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, with funeral services to follow at 12:00 pm.
Interment will take place at Roosevelt Cemetery, Pennellville.
