Donald L. Delmarter, 77, died Friday at James Square Nursing Home. Donald, the son of the late Sidney and Catherine Vaughn Delmarter was a native and life resident of Lysander.
He was a breeder of Holstein Fersian Cattle for 40 years, on the Century farm he owned. Don was a well known vendor on the Regional Market. He was a member of the Syracuse Dairy Farmers CO-OP, American Dairy Association and Metropolitan Milk Producer. He also was a member of NY Farm Equipment Dealers Association, Hay and Grain Dealers of NY and many other farm organizations.
Surviving are friends, Norma (Stan) Newman, Daniel (Debbie) Sidon and Michelle Arthur, an aunt, niece and grand nephew.
Graveside services in Lysander Cemetery will be in the Spring. There will be no calling hours.
