Donald J. Walters, 71, of Clay, passed away Wednesday, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Utica, Donald was employed for more than 50 years with Hanyan-Higgins Co., Inc., and served as President for many years. He is predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Daisie Walters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janet; his daughter, Andrea (Kevin) Victory; three sons, Donald J. (Jane) Jr., Gary and Russell (Rose) Walters; a step-daughter, Susanna (James) Travis; a step-son, Anthony (Nicole) Redden; a sister, Pat (Walt) Meyers; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Saturday, 11 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel St. Liverpool, NY.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY.
