Donald E. "Grit" Griffith, Jr. 66 of Liverpool, NY passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2023 peacefully in his sleep.
Donald was an Army Veteran and worked many years for Service Liquor Distributors as a Merchandiser. He recently volunteered at Redeemer Evangelical Church. Don enjoyed NASCAR races, muscle cars and was an avid NY Giants fan. His favorite hobby was making unique model cars, as well as writing stories, especially for his kids & grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Susan Griffith of Liverpool; their children, Corey (Marrie) Griffith of Rochester, Justin Griffith (Malena Vazquez) of Liverpool; 4 grandchildren, Dallas, Jordan, Camryn & Leilani; his mother, Joann Griffith; 3 younger brothers, Daniel, David and Douglas; daughter, Abby Garofalo; As well as several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Donald E. Griffith, Sr.
Calling hours will be Monday, February 27th at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in North Syracuse from 4-6pm with a service to follow at 6pm.
