Donald Gascoigne

Donald E. Gascoigne, 76, of North Syracuse, passed away Wednesday following a long illness. Born in Wolcott, NY to Earl and Frances Gascoigne. Donald worked at Carrier Corp for 33 years. Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman and an active blood donor. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his brother Bob and daughter-in-law, Edith.
Donald is survived by his wife of 58 years Isabel, three sons, James (Ethel) of Wolcott, Ricky of Phoenix and Timothy of Central Square, two daughters, Donna M. (David) Luckette of Solvay and Sandra (Norm) Nicolini of Pennellville, one brother, Clayte Gascoigne of TN, four sisters, Betty Valentine, Jane Rasbeck and Janet Darling all of Wolcott and Ruth Neal of Waterloo, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
