Donald G. Imeson, 79, of Liverpool, and Lorten Lake. Altmar died Tuesday. He was an active Life member of the Liverpool Fire Department, where he served as the pumps operator, EMT and Fire Investigator.

Don retired as a bus driver from both the Greyhound Bus Company and Liverpool School District. He had previously worked as a milkman for Imeson Dairy. Donald was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Don enjoyed cross stitch, needlepoint and gardening. He was predeceased by a sister, Norma Piraino.

Surviving are sons, Donald (Tina) and Craig Imeson; daughters, Jodene Imeson and Alecia (Charles) Butts; brother, Richard Imeson; sister, Joan Jones; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren;

Services will be 9 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Liverpool Fire Department, 1110 Oswego St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
