Donald E. "Donnie" Weiss, 51, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday. Donnie lived at the Marcia Street IRA for the last 2 years. Prior to that, he resided at Northfield House in Camillus and Avery House in Syracuse. He enjoyed sports, music, family, friends and food. Donnie loved to laugh and enjoyed meeting new people. He is predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Herman Weiss.
He is survived by 6 siblings, Mickey (Lester) Temple, Barbara Holcomb, Joyce Colbert, Sharon (Bill) Evans, Bill (Denise) Weiss and Jan (Donald) Lee and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Chittenango. A graveside service will take place at 2PM on Saturday in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CNY Friends, 187 Northern Concourse, N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
