Donald G. "Don" Case, 88, of Cicero, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Don was born in Trucksville, PA on May 14, 1932 son of the late Fred and Margaret Case. Don served in the US Coast Guard & retired from Paul DeLima Coffee as Vice President of Sales. He was a board member of the NY State Vending Association and the NY State Association for Convenient Stores. Don was also in the Hall of Fame for the Association for Convenient Stores Association. Don was a member of the Cicero United Methodist Church for 58 years and the McConnellsville Golf Club. He was an active member of the Boy Scout Troop #117 where he made many lifelong friends. Don will be remembered for his laughter and his humor. He will be missed by all.
He is survived by wife of 67 years, Ruthe Case, sons, Gary (Donna) Case, Thomas (Karen) Case, daughter, Joy (Thomas) Tassone, grandchildren, Vanessa, Fred, Trevor, Trenton, Mackenzie, Theresa, brother, James Case. He was predeceased by his grandson, Tony Tassone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10-11 am at Cicero United Methodist Church with services at 11am at the church.
Burial will take place at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
