Donald Burke "Burkey" 76 of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side.
Born on December 3, 1942 to the late Donald and Bernice Burke.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he received 2 Purple Hearts. He owned and operated The Cleveland House for 17 years. He worked in telecomucations and then retired. His real passion was being a "self taught" glass artist where he perfected the business of "Ashes in Glass".
He is survived by his long time love, Marilyn Hinds Potts; daughter, Holly and her husband, Jim Mahon; granddaughters, Whitney and Kelsey; sister, Darlean True; brother, Richard Burke and his "pup pups" Max and Molly.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 1pm at The American Legion in Cleveland, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paws Across Oswego County and Clear Path for Veteran's.
