Dominick "Nick" Fioramonti, a beloved father and Vietnam veteran, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2024. Nick was born to the late Duke and Eileen Fioramonti. He leaves behind a legacy of love, honor and service.
Nick served his country with pride as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. During his service he was the recipient of the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross and a Purple Heart. Nick was a member of the American Legion, John Venditti Post #1 in Syracuse.
Beyond his military service, Nick was a devoted father to his two daughters, Tina and Angela. He instilled in them values of resilience, integrity and strength.
In addition to his family, Nick touched the lives of many with his humor, generosity and strength of character. Though Nick may have left this world, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
He leaves behind two daughters, Tina Martin and Angela; three grandchildren, Kiana, Tyler and Andrew Giovanni; two brothers, Richard and Jack and one sister, Marylou Mailhot. Conan, one of several nephews and nieces, was at his bedside daily until he passed.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 28th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in North Syracuse with a service and military honors to follow at 7pm.
Nick's family would like to thank the staff at the VA Medical Center 6C and St. Camillus C Unit for the compassionate care they provided.
We honor his memory and celebrate the life of a true American hero, a devoted father and a loyal friend. Rest in peace, Nick Fioramonti.
