Domenico Rotella, 89 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on June 22, 2021.
Born August 12, 1931, Gimigliano, Italy. He came to America with his wife and children in 1970.
Domenico is survived by his Wife, Aurora, son, Ralph (Joan) and Daughter, Josephine (Ralph) Madonna, 3 grandchildren, Anna, Joseph and Adam, a great grand-child, Noah, siblings, Frank (Connie), Joseph (Kathy), Jerry (Stephanie), Mary (Joe) Romeo and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
"Papa" as everyone called him spent his days visiting with friends and family at his sons shoe repair shop and he loved to tend the garden at his home.
Calling hours are at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Tuesday June 29 from 4-6 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 11am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool, NY.
Contributions in Papa's name in lieu of flowers may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, the Food Pantry, or your charity of choice.
