Dolores M. Beamer, 80, of Mattydale, passed away Friday at Upstate University Hospital. She retired from the North Syracuse School District as a bus driver. Dolores was an avid animal lover and enjoyed going to dog shows all over the Northeast and Canada. She is predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Barbara and Gilbert Johnson and her brother, John A. Horth.
She is survived by her children, Thomas W. (Carol) Beamer of New Jersey, Bonnie M. Beamer of Erieville, Arthur R. Beamer of Mattydale and Fred L. (Wendy) Beamer of Michigan; former husband, Arthur W. Beamer of Woodville, NY; two grand-children, Jessica L. (Joel) Beamer- Reb and Jason (Holly) Beamer; four great grandchildren, Jack, Connor, Ava Reb; Cormac Beamer; brothers, William C. Horth and James B. (Theddi)Horth; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 11AM to 1PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 1PM.
Dolores' family would like to thank the staff at Upstate University Hospital for their compassion care during her lengthy stay.
