Diantha D. Holihan

Diantha D. Holihan, of Mattydale passed away Wednesday at home. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Solvay High School and worked as a deli-manager for Tops Grocery Store. She volunteered with the VA Medical Center and was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 787 and a former president of the Purple Hearts. She is predeceased by her brother, Christian Britschgi.
Survivors include her husband, John J. Holihan; a son, David (Deborah) Holihan; a daughter, Linda (Charlie) Jackson; a sister, Mary Jane Casimiro; five grandchildren and four great- grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
