Diane (Holmes) Veaudry

Diane (Holmes) Veaudry, 73, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday October 5, 2023, after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area. She graduated from Liverpool High School in 1968. Diane was a voracious reader, and a lover of country music. She worked for many years as a childcare provider, taking exceptional care of dozens of children through the years. She was a loving mother and was especially proud of her two children and grandchildren.

Diane was predeceased by her parents, William A. and Norma Holmes, her brothers William E., Timothy and Jeffrey Holmes and her nephew, Christopher Holmes.

Diane is survived by her children, Jennifer (Matthew) Shaffer, of Jamesville, Eric Veaudry, of Liverpool, her grandchildren, Jacob, and Jorja Shaffer of Jamesville, her brother, Daniel Holmes of Pennsylvania and nephew, Matthew Holmes.

Per Diane's wishes, services will be private and there will be no calling hours.
