Diane Carol Fabian, 60, of North Syracuse, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday.

She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, niece and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.

Diane loved vegetable gardening, her variegated and polka dot African violets, baking delicious cheese cakes, animals of all varieties, especially cats and dogs, and camping trips. She was a graduate of Cicero High School in 1973. Diane worked 28 years for DiMarco, Abiusi and Pascarella Certified Public Accountants as an Administrative Assistant.

Diane was predeceased by her father, Leo W. Fabian, Sr. in 2005 and nephew, Scott Fabian in 1996.

Diane is survived by her son, Nolan (Lindsey May) Shewfelt of North Syracuse; her mother, Josephine Fabian of North Syracuse; her brothers, Leo (Nancy) Fabian of Fulton and James (Barbara) Fabian of Constantia; nephews and nieces, Jason (Heather) Fabian of Brewerton, Amy Lynn, Erik and Nicole Fabian, all of North Syracuse; and her beloved dog, Annie Fannie.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A service will be held at 7PM.
